How can I become a volunteer at the sanctuary?
Hi there, to become a volunteer you need to be at least 16 years old, be willing to work with animals you are comfortable with. Be prepaired to get mucky and take instructions from staff members at the sanctuary, who are a all very happy to meet new people who come to help. You need to wear sensible clothing and footwear and please remember the animals come first, some need extra care and quite handling so listen to staff members and check with them before taking any dog out of its kennel. Call us on 063 91110 and come and meet us at the sanctuary. We all will be so pleased to see you. Dustin xx

I was on a lovely horse the other day called Augustus. He's about 17 hands high. I was just wondering, how tall are you exactly?
How many hands high am I ? Well Jack is 16 hands high and I could shelter under him if I got caught in a shower ha ha ha. I am small in size but have a hugh heart and plenty of spirit. Some of the greyhounds here are the same height as me but I outsize them in width :-0)
One of the ladies here said she would love to ride me as she could keep both feet on the ground....The cheek of her...CHICKEN
